Well your on the next page, so you gotta be at least a little interested in the rally!

_ Here's some more information on the rally and why we decided it was for us!

It's a drive from Plymouth (UK) to Banjul (Gambia) and ok, ok we use a ferry here or there but for the best part it's driving!

_ We first heard about the rally when Paul who had read about it somewhere, and the hunt began! It wasn't long till we found the information and website's we were looking for and we went ahead and entered our team.

These are the rules that we found!

___________________ -1 Competing cars must cost less than £100.

___________________ -2 Maximum budget for the vehicle Rally Preparation: £15

___________________ -3 Once the Rally is underway, there will be no form of formal assistance ___________________ __ from the organizers in any way - Teams are ON THEIR OWN.

___________________ -4 All of vehicles must be auctioned off for charity upon arrival in Banjul.

___________________ -5 All vehicles must be LEFT-HAND DRIVE!!

___________________ -6 Rules are made to be broken ...Except Rules 4 and 5

_ Well that just makes it all that much more exciting doesn't it??

As I'm sure most teams participating will tell you, we entered fully expecting to be rejected, but thought, you never know!

_ So we carried on with our lives as you do until that fateful E-mail arrived congratulating us on our acceptance into the rally!

And there we were! Four guys, no car, no mechanical knowledge worth mentioning, and an acceptance to drive nearly 4000 miles with a bunch of like minded nutters!

_ What a challenge!!
